What follows is basic information about the game for new players.
Gotham-Verse is a private Discord based game that runs every-other Friday night at 6pm CST, in rotation with another game.
Gotham-Verse is about telling the stories of various Batmen. There are different versions of Batman from across countless dimensions, each unique in their own way. Every player will work with the group to design a Dimension, the home of their own individual Batman. While each character will have their own version of Batman to play, along with their own home Dimension to explore, the rest of the players players will take on roles of other significant characters within those dimensions.
Every player will work with the group to design their own unique take on Batman. Once a Dimension is established and a Batman has been created, the other players will create characters that live and breath alongside the Batman. These could be re-imaginings of Batman’s allies, your own spin on Robin or James Gordon, or even Batman’s villains like the Joker or Two-Face. Alternatively you could design a character completely unique to this Dimension, a new character never before seen in the Batman mythos.
Every player will have a number of characters equal to the number of players in the game. One of their characters will be their Batman, but they will have a cast of characters for every other Dimension created in the game. When you’re ready to start working on your characters you can follow the guide on the Creating a Character page.
For the game itself, utilizes a slightly modified version of the Technoir, Gotham Noir which is intended for use with the core rules found in Technoir, a high-tech hard-boiled roleplaying game by Jeremy Keller. Visit TechnoirRPG.com for more information and downloads.
The game is ran using Discord and uses Google Sheets for Character and Dimension sheets..
